Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
