"That's a bit different but then, I enjoy running and just move forward - I'm not staying back that much," he said.

"I tell my centre-back 'I'm not hanging back' and that I'm just going to keep running.

"The movement is what I'm looking for. It's enjoyable."

'Surreal Experience

Along with Cisse's 6 goals on his first game, Ireland has netted 8 in 3 games for Wythenshawe, while Boyd hit 5 on his debut match and Lescott, a centre-half by trade, notched a hat-trick in one match up front.

The team are top of the Premier Tier with three wins from three and a GD of +19.

One opponent, thirty-eight, who plays on the flank for Collegiate OB, came up against former Wigan full-back Maynor Figueroa on Sunday - and had to tell his nine-year-old son who Emile Heskey was.

He has played at 2 global tournaments for his country, in addition to featuring in over two hundred Premier League games.

"The news was going round like a rumor they had all these ex-Premier League stars," said Barrow.

"I felt I was a bit starstruck facing him to be honest.

"Even Heskey got on and he's got over 60 England caps.

"We held our own for a solid 20 mins but then we had a man sent off and it was tough.

"Our group really have not stopped chatting about it - I was phoning my mum and sibling on the way home.

"The opponents were all dead sound, shaking our hands after the game - it was like playing a group of regular fellas.

"Now we are eager for the second match."
